Roads - How they affect your vastu
Certain features in your external environment can affect positively or negatively on the vastu of your building. Location of the road and open space are highly important in the vastu shastra. Let us examine how the road and surrounding affects fortune of the site owner & his family:-T- Junction
The Situation When a house faces a T-junction, it is like a gun being pointed straight at the house.
The T-junction acts like a funnel drawing negative energies towards the house. People staying in such houses are always in troubles.
Business premises located at T junction will face instability.
We have seen a lot of business house located at T junction has been closed down in a short period of time.
The Effects
The occupants of such a house could suffer from poor health and may be accident-prone. Business premises located at T junction will face instability.
The Solution
If possible, reposition the front door or gate so that it does not directly face the road running up to the entrance.
&
A low fence or a hedge should be built with a gate as a barrier to the negative energies.
Vastu partition strips and vastu helix are the alternative solutions/remedies for correcting a T junction defect.

Building or Plot having a road at East or North - Overall prosperity
Building or Plot having a road at South - Not Good
Building or Plot having a road at west - Average
If there are two roads surrounding the premises:-
Roads at North and East - Good Prosperity
Roads at East and south road - Good for females

Veedhi Shoola – Approaching Road
Veedhi Shoolas is said to occur when roads approach the site. Some of these are considered bad while the others don't matter much.
·There are four prime road approaches, which are considered to be highly positive and there are other four approaches, which are considered to be highly negative.
The road approaching from North East of East is considered to be a very good situation because it gives name, fame, and prosperity to the owner of the house or plot.
The road coming from North-East of North is also considered good as it gives better and excellent prosperity and financial soundness to the owner. As the availability of these plots is rare they should be bought whenever found.
The road from North-West of the west is good as it offers excellent business propositions, more contacts, better friendships relations and satisfies political aspirations. Ladies will flourish and all-round happiness is present in such premises/plots.
The road approach from Southeast of South is also good as it brings good luck in finance and offers excellent financial status for the owner.
The road from Southeast of East may cause financial misery and legal problems.
The road coming from Southwest of West is an invitation to bad luck. Such location should be avoided under any circumstances.
The road approaching from Southwest of South is highly inauspicious. It may result into serious bad luck and loss of health.
The road approaching from Northwest of the north may result into instability in business as well as income.

We currently live in a corner house with roads alongside East of plot and South of plot. The front of house faces South with entrance going to a road alongside the South of the plot. There is also a road alongside the East side of house, but we do not have access to this road from the plot. Both of these roads are not spearing roads to the plot.
We want to remodel the house to face East and put our driveway to connect to the road alongside East of house.
But we will still have a road alongside the South of the plot, we will remove the access to this road.
Is that ok to have a plot with front access to a road alongside East of plot but there is a second road alongside South of plot? Are there any remedies we need to do for the road alongside the South of the plot?
The road alongside the South of plot is smaller local road, the road alongside of East of plot is little larger road.

Your reivsed plan with main access from east is a good way to correct vastu. Make sure that all internal planning should be according to vastu. Make a higher wall at south to protect house from negative impact.

Rounding at north east leaves impression of missing corner. Since there is reduction of water element, you need to put a UG water tank near by the north east corner.

Which one between the two would you recommend as better?
#1- Plot with roads alongside East and South, with rounding of corner in Southeast.
Or
#2- Plot with roads alongside North and East with rounding of corner in Northeast?
We currently live in house situation #1, with house facing South. We can either re-build to make house face East and put fence alongside Southern road. Or we can sell house and move to plot #2, if #2 is better for family prosperity?

Both the plot are against vastu rule. Plot should be made rectangular. Or take the plot boundry inside so the round area at north east can be corrected.

Since it is a road and hitting to your place it is a T junction. But since it is the parking lot and vehicle movement will not be heavy - its effect will be not of serious nature.

This only talks about "The road approaching from North east of East", "The road from South east of East" etc. This does not mention about road approaching directly from south. Or I am not sure if I am making proper sense out of this, can you please help.
We are thinking to buy a south facing home. It is located in such a way that a small street(not a huge road) that will run from south towards the home directly pointing at the home ; and imagine this street turns right. This is like a "L" shape . Please provide us your view on this.

Please note that veedhishoola means road ending to your plot. T junction means road diverting on both side after hitting to your plot. Please explain correctly

North east veedhi shoola is ok but since it is also affecting east- you need to correct with vastu remedies before you do any construction work.

Make a higher boundry wall at south. Plot entrance should be from the east. Make internal arrangement as per vastu so the house become a harmonious place.

The house is a part of a 5 house attached townhomes and is in the middle. The front door faces east. There is a T junction facing the house at a distance of 250 feet and not immediately in the front. The T junction is coming in from north east and is not exactly in front of the house at an angle of 45 degrees.
There are roads surrounding these houses on the north, south and west.
Is this good?

The layout is not cleared but it seems that plot has extention at south west on back. You have to cut off that area by making a straight wall. Rest is fine. Plot having longer north-south is much better than east-west

We are looking at a house and it is facing northwest. It is located in a culdesac where there are two streets, one facing north and one facing west runs. The building technically does not face either of the streets, it faces the corner of the opposite east facing house.
The northwest corner of the house does not have a veedhisula, but a wooded fenced gate on the south west corner of the house is facing the north running street. When you come out of the gate, it does not face the street rather faces the same opposite house but if you make a 45 degree right turn then the north running street can be seen.
Is it okay to buy this house?

There is no veedhishoola affecting the house. We dont see any veedhisoola at south west. Please note that there are many factors to consider before buying the house i.e. main entrance, water body, shape of the house, slope & elevation, kitchen's lcoation and arrangement , bed rooms location and arrangments, toilet etc

Unfortunately this is an older home and do not have the floorplan.
The entrance is towards the north east corner of the building. There is no body of water around the house. The kitchen is located on the south side towards the middle and towards the southeast is the dining table area. The stove is facing northwest corner, meaning while cooking you will be facing north west. The master bedroom is on the northwest corner, the child bedroom is on the southwest corner upstairs. The studyroom is on the southwest corner of the house. As far as I can tell there is no elevation.
Also one more thing, in your excellent article what does the term north or northeast, south of southeast, etc... mean? Sorry about the long post.

Hi Sir, I was recently informed about T roads ending in the vicinity of ones home and Vastu effects. So i looked into it and found that the T road ends towards the north east side of the house (in straight line with the North East side of my house, most of which is my car drive way blocked by a gate that leads to the backyard) and as the road ending is broader than the driveway around a very small portion of the north east part of the house comes in a line with the road. My Main door is North facing near the center of the plot not in line with the T junction.

I also read that a T- junction at the North zone, North-East zone and East zone prove highly profitable. In the rest of the 16 MahaVastu zones, it is not beneficial and proves harmful.

Google map shows that it does not form a T junction on your border. Only straight road and turning right is projected towards your house. This is not a T junction for you. So you need not to worry.

We do not recommed any mirror on south west. Cover, if it located at south-west. INcase of mirror, we advice you to cover with curtain or change the position. If you are looking for correction, then we suggest to put silver plated copper pyramids chips on four corner of the mirror for energy correction.

Location of road at north east and north west is ok as per vastu. Perfect alignement with compass direction is always better. Entrance to the house, external and internal placements should be as per vastu.
L shaped home entrance. One road coming from north north-west and another road facing main entrance from west south-west. Please suggest remedy.

We are planning to buy a house on a street which curver near our house. The street takes huge turn around 70 degrees which makes the house look like its facing the street. But actually when we go stand on the property, the main door is not facing the incoming street.
I hope this made sense. If not think about it like a "L" shape street with round corner. So the plot around the curvy part so when entering the street it looks like that the street ends at our house but it still carries on and make a huge turn. When we stand on the property, the main door is not facing the long incoming street. What do you say about this? Please let me know!

We have plot(60*40) which is west facing and there is road approaching from south west of south and hitting 25% of plot.
As per your article this is affected by veedhi soola, Request you to provide necessary remedies to avoid any misfortunes.

Drive way is not issue in this case as same is projected at south east. But the image indicates a missing corner at north east which is a major vastu defect
Sir the plot in which i am in my new apartment is passage property. the passage falls in north on the north west corner of the plot. as per the info gathered it is vidhi schoola. what is the remidy??? will copper strip help in the rectification, if yes then how to fix it??
You can use copper strip on the outer wall of the house either on the ground or on the ceiling to cut off the negatives. Also place 3 brass helix in the flooring at north of north west.

Buying of plot or house does not depends upon the main door only. You need to consider the level of plot, surrounding, internal placement as well to make a decision on buying a plot or house.

Yes, 24 and even 25 should be avoided. Its a T junction plot & a major vastu defect.
But road approaching to plot no 25 is from east of north east and hence it must be favourable according to your post.
Road ending and T junction both are different thing. Road diverts on both side creating T junction and hence not adviced

Yes road ending at north east is fine.
Plot is having a road at west is ok and average plot. Make your internal and external planning of home as per vastu. all the elements of vastu should be balanced while making a house design

Yes Mr. P Jain road is not ending on your plot
Making a wall at west will reduce the impact of T junction. You will not have vastu defect once a plot at west is occupied and consturcted. Window at west should be above the boundry level

Definately it is a major vastu defect. Avoid any entrance directly hitting your building. If not, we suggest you to use a lead metal spiral block with lead metal helix and lead metal pyramid. These are the strong protective instruments for south west defects.

As shown on thw blog, you can use lead metal helix on the boundry of your plot having T junction. You can place 9 of such lead metal helix in addition to this you can use raw quartz crystal rocks of about 10 kg and more to stregthn the south zone

My house front door is facing East and there is a T junction coming from North East direction but the top of the T is on the other side and bottom of the T junction is exactly pointing to our front door from NE direction. The bottom of the T junction is ending about 500 Meters before and not exactly at the front door porch. Also there is a green lawn in between the front door and and end of the T junction and there are 2 concrete walkways one at the end of T Junction and another just in front of the door both running North to South direction.
Is this good or bad?

I have a corner plot of 60/40 in a four junction road having roads on east and south sides. The size of plot is 60Ft on East side and 40 Ft towards south side.Recently I have purchased a plot on south side of existing plot having dimensions of 20 FT on south and 60 Ft in length from south to north.Now my plot has become 60/60 ft and is in square shape. I recently heard that the plot should not be extended on south side due to ill effect of vastu which I am worried.Please suggest me to avoid if any Vastu dosha.
Always buy additional plot in north or east side of your existing plot. Keep a natural quartz of apxm 10 to 15kg (Earth element ) at south west corner of the new plot

Simply saying door at north east is not a true vastu. Door should fall in positive zone as per vastu grid. Location of kitchen, bed room , toilet are also important from vastu point of view

Yes location of road is in positive direction

Location of the roads around the buildings are not in a positive direction but since it is divided amongst the many owners, effect of the same will be minimum. There are 8 divisions on the north and exact location with compass degree is necessary to evaluate

The surrounding strength is average of this plot. If you are planning to make a new house, make sure that all placements are made as per vastu.
