Roads - How they affect your vastu
Certain features in your external environment can affect positively or negatively on the vastu of your building. Location of the road and open space are highly important in the vastu shastra. Let us examine how the road and surrounding affects fortune of the site owner & his family:-T- Junction
The Situation When a house faces a T-junction, it is like a gun being pointed straight at the house.
The T-junction acts like a funnel drawing negative energies towards the house. People staying in such houses are always in troubles.
Business premises located at T junction will face instability.
We have seen a lot of business house located at T junction has been closed down in a short period of time.
The Effects
The occupants of such a house could suffer from poor health and may be accident-prone. Business premises located at T junction will face instability.
The Solution
If possible, reposition the front door or gate so that it does not directly face the road running up to the entrance.
&
A low fence or a hedge should be built with a gate as a barrier to the negative energies.
Vastu partition strips and vastu helix are the alternative solutions/remedies for correcting a T junction defect.

Veedhi Shoola – Approaching Road
Veedhi Shoolas is said to occur when roads approach the site. Some of these are considered bad while the others don't matter much.
·There are four prime road approaches, which are considered to be highly positive and there are other four approaches, which are considered to be highly negative.
The road approaching from North East of East is considered to be a very good situation because it gives name, fame, and prosperity to the owner of the house or plot.
The road coming from North-East of North is also considered good as it gives better and excellent prosperity and financial soundness to the owner. As the availability of these plots is rare they should be bought whenever found.
The road from North-West of the west is good as it offers excellent business propositions, more contacts, better friendships relations and satisfies political aspirations. Ladies will flourish and all-round happiness is present in such premises/plots.
The road approach from Southeast of South is also good as it brings good luck in finance and offers excellent financial status for the owner.
The road from Southeast of East may cause financial misery and legal problems.
The road coming from Southwest of West is an invitation to bad luck. Such location should be avoided under any circumstances.
The road approaching from Southwest of South is highly inauspicious. It may result into serious bad luck and loss of health.
The road approaching from Northwest of the north may result into instability in business as well as income.

Plot No. 55 & 56 are not T junction. But these are irregular shape plots. Plot No.55 has south west cut and Plot 56 is curved at west. Buy plot No.54. West facing is not a negative, but make sure that you follow all vastu principles in making a home. Wishing you a good luck

The major road names have been marked off in black. The house faces north. The major road runs east-west as shown. The other road that is coming in the front is actually not a major road but a carway/alley for the houses that are in the front (7014/2726 and a couple of others). Almost 1/4th of the house in question lies in front of this alleyway, but the main door does not. The door has a walkway infront of it that winds down north/west to touch the main road that runs east west.

Please inform the exact location of gate/door. Park at west is ok but locatio of the the road at south need a strong vastu correction.

The road is projected entirely on north side of the plot. According to vastu, only north east part is considered good for road approaching from north. The strength of the plot is considered average .
Dear Sir, My house is on a T junction. The road comes straight on to my garage door. I use the garage door which opens in East direction, although I have my main door facing North but opens towards South. Can I close my garage door permanently and use the main door opening towards South?

Hello Sir, Need your help and advise. I have recently bought a plot and constructing the house on it. The plot is facing East ( total - 30 Feet ) and is at L Junction ( road hit 17 feet ). The road comes from East and turns towards North as in L. Road is comming from east side(north east hit) and turning towards east is a good vastu vidhishoola. It is not forming a T junction as per your explanation and is positive.
No Sir, It is not forming a T junction, but a reverse L, as the road comes from East and hits at Eashanyam and road goes towards North. There are 3 mores houses/plots after mine towards the north of my plot. The road ends there.

We are planning to buy plot-A(East facing) in the above layout. 3-feet(out of 24 feet) of the frontage is having the visibility from the approaching road in the North-East of Eastern side. If we consider the concrete road as the road extent, there will not be any veedhi shoola. However apart from concrete road there is 3-feet space left on either side of the approaching road. This additional space, if considered as road, can cause partial veedhi shoola/T-junction for this plot-A.
1) should this be considered as veedhi shoola/T-junction?
2) should we avoid or are there any workarounds like planning the two car parks on northern side avoiding the veedhi shoola effect?

You can leave three feet and make a compund wall. Its like making a two part of plot. Road hitting your plot and diverting to two side is a T junction plot in your case.
I am planning to buy a house that has Road from north of north west. It also has a road towards the east. It is a corner plot. The plot's north east corner is extended. Least but not the last, it is also extended towards the south west corner which is excluded from the construction and left aside from the compound wall. Shall I go ahead and buy the house?

My question is what about T junctions with in an apartment complex. for eg. Does this veedhi sula rule applies?? In my apartment complex parking lots are devided into small streets with one side of the streets in T junctions and other side with building containing 10-12 apartment units. In a way, the whole building is facing these small parking streets. Please help...

AS per layout plot no.1 is facing east. i.e. road is on east. We could not find any shoola apporaching your plot.

we are planning to buy a house which is facing north....there is road coming towards this house ....the road is coming from south and it is lil bended...and also the road originally started from east..so when i look at the road from front left corner the house is within the road...but when i see the road from rightside corner of the house then the house is 12 to 13 feet more than the road....is this a good veedipotu or bad?? please let me now and also mention my name in your comment to avoid confusion.

Sir i have seen a flat in an apartment in which apartment is east facing at t- point. Ground floor of this apartment is parking area and than on the first floor are flats. The flat which I m looking in this apartment has its entrance not facing t-point. What u suggest.
