WATER ELEMENT –VASTU TIPS
1. The body of water should not be too huge compared to the actual premises or it can energetically dominate the site and weaken the occupant's growth.
2. Shape and placement of the body of water are very important. The best place according to Vastu Shastra is in the northeast zone. It should not be on the edge of the northeast axis. Waterfalls and fountains create new energy flow in any environment. A well-placed fountain can have a beneficial impact on any space.
3. Fish aquariums are another powerful water energizer. Fish tanks are a combination of water and living energy that stimulates the flow of new energy flow. There is a 30x40 feet plot. 30 feet is facing east. There are 2 roads to the plot. One on the east and the other on the west. There is a big lake on the north side approximately 200 meters from the plot. The lake water is flowing through a canal running from the north to south located approximately 90 meters from the plot on the west side. Can I buy the plot? Kindly advise.

Lake has no effect on your plot but make sure that your plot is vastu compliant with a true slope and shape.

Water flow from north to south is highly negative as per Vastu. A under ground water storage tank can be placed in the north east, where as overhead tank should be on south west zone.

I am planning to purchase flat which has East facing. There is lake on the south side of apartment but it is 100 meter far from apartment. I cannot view lake from my flat but it is visible from apartment area. What is your opinion about Lake on the south side of apartment? Though it is at Southside but there is 60ft road and small garden between lake and apartment.
